Come off it women... and yes I am a woman with a child by my ex husband... but seriously if Nas wants joint custody then so be it. At least he is trying to be a father. And if he is doing it to keep from getting stuck with $50k in CS a month... then applaud him b/c that amount of money is downright ridiculous. I don't even get CS b/c I did not want it. I simply asked my ex hubby to be a part of our daughter's life and pay for her daycare. And that is it. And he agreed to do that and whatever else he does is a bonus. I have seen plenty of men get screwed over by their kids mothers so I am glad that Nas is not taking this ish. My ex was paying CS to his daughter's mom and her trifling ass wasn't even keeping her rent paid nor paying the baby's daycare. So I told my ex to go to court and get FULL custody and that is what he did. So men stand up and fight for your kids if that is what you want to do. This female is 100% behind you.

Nas and Kelis son is 3 months old he was born 7/22/09! Nas and Kelis both filed joint custody in the beginning...the only reason why Nas was order to pay that much to Kelis was because she had no substantial income and had just given birth. The child and spousal support amount was temporary. Joint custody allows Nas to be able to make decisions about his son without Kelis calling all the shots and she will also have to pay 50% of child care (which she should) Kelis has an album being released in 2010 thru Interscope...she can no longer say she has no way to support herslf or her child Nas is playing this smart. I like Kelis but she is fool about 72,728k per month just for spousal support...she must be back on that sh*t!
